Freebird is where I use my skill set and passion for language and sport for performance delivery and coaching. I view language and sport, as being key to connect the world.
Language skills are the key thread running through my life whether in the academic, business, or sports arena.
Born multi national, I speak native English and Danish. I studied German for over a decade, with a specialism in German law, which included four years at university studying German Law in German.
I have taught English as a foreign language, including on intense retreats , and worked as a German to English Translator and Paralegal for law firms as far back as 1997. Language skills have been useful when racing all over the world. I provided interpretation for athletes hospitalised from accidents. Recently translated major sports event websites from Spanish to English.
My other passion is connecting through sport, and assisting people wherever they are on their sport and well being journey. I have competed at a decent level across a variety of sports, which means I am able to connect with both beginners and performance focused athletes.
